Busy Morning on the Farm this year.
Spring hasn’t officially arrived but everything here is already turning green and blooming. Nature is getting very busy and so is this writer. For the first time in my writing life, I am working two books at the same time and each is a different genre.
The Live Oak Series is coming to a close with Book 6, Hidden Fire. This is Tina’s and Trey’s story or, as I call it when it is misbehaving, TNT. As much as I enjoy my real life friends, I will never again agree to use one in a fiction setting. Tina, the fictional one, not the real one, is driving me crazy but not as crazy as her friend, Jennifer, the fictional one not the real one.
Jennifer has just made a life changing announcement right in the middle of an event that the two women are giving. My shock almost matched Tina’s. Here’s a little sample.
Tina drew back to stare at her friend. “What? Now? Are you crazy?”
Jennifer laughed until she thought she would break a rib. The shock on Tina’s face was priceless. “Not right this second, anyway,” she managed when she could get her breath without chuckling again. “Cody is busy right now in case you’ve missed him on stage.”
“Don’t make me hit you,” Tina warned. “Are you serious? At least wait until we get into the new shop. Please. This is me begging in case you can’t tell. Pregnancy won’t fit on any spreadsheet I have. Believe me.”
Amazon is running a deep discount sale right now on both the paperback and kindle version of Light the Fire. So, if you haven’t gotten your copy, you might want to check out the sale. Limited Time Only.
