Recently, I have heard a number of small press writers have discovered that books in print that they thought had a copyright, in fact, did NOT! Many writers groups and individuals are on different sides on the importance of a copyright. Each of us get to choose. If you are one of those who prefer to have copyright material in print, I suggest you check to be sure that is what you do have, not what you may been told you have.
